All cockroaches have the same sprite as the DCSS's giant cockroach.
To jump off the slippery slope, every sprite is replaced with a relevant tile from Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.

Make the chem dispenser emaggable. When emagged, all the dispenser buttons are scrambled at random, i.e. you click Water and get Potassium. It can be rebooted by pressing its power button with a pen.

Something I've been working on.
Here are some other ideas I had.
* Switchblades for traitors, found in surplus crates, concealable to the level that when you put it away or take it out, there is no visual notification except when you open it (*click*); they can also be found in the debris field
* Forklift modifications, so we can try to kill you with a forklift (ole!); some examples being a battery replacement for more power and speed, weapons being welded to the forks, armor plating, etc.
* Microwave suicide emote; "You stick your head in the microwave and give yourself a tan!"
* A weapons vendor in the debris field, with very expensive prices... but with very rare guns and melee weapons, like the AK
* DJ gear! Hell, I'm already working on sprites for this one
* More ghost critters

Zoldorf (the shitty laughing fortune-telling machine) should become *much* more obnoxious when emagged, or should perhaps give out dumber or spookier fortunes when emagged.
It would also be great if Zoldorf was one of the objects spies could be tasked with stealing, but I'm not sure that's feasible.

New chem: space steroids. Taking it makes your voice deeper (helium makes it higher pitched, so I imagine it's possible for chems to do the inverse as well) and makes you stronger. Not sure how strong on a scale between 'boxing gloves with horseshoes in them' and 'hulk power from genetics'.
Of course, as we all know, steroids have side effects! Causes heart attack risk like cholesterol stuff does, and maybe having too much in your system at any time causes berserker or something else to the tune of (space) roid rage.

Maybe device frames could be a spy target. That’s a little easy though.
Failing that, we have forklifts. Maybe you could drive off with Zoldorf.

emagged zoldorf should shoot out whatever he contains inside him saying "YOU SHALL NOT PA- this machine has been copyrighted. Please contact Syndicate Corp Ltd at your local nuclear operation station." and then have a tiny explosion which ends up in zoldorfs mangled head being the only thing remaining and people about 3 tiles near are damaged for near orange burn or brute.
