You can turn off the party button effect (even after the button is removed) by toggling environmental power on the room's APC. Not an ideal solution, but handy to know until it gets changed.

In exchange, I'd like to be able to e-mag the party button so that every time someone presses it, an ear-shattering airhorn sounds across the station.
