The PTL is a nice gigantic laser. I posted a long time ago, saying there should be a minuscule chance that it gives you superpowers instead of obliterating your body.

Mad Scientist route sounds awesome, though in the spirit of the thread it should only give you about 1000 stability instead of any mutations. Maybe have a genetics setup in the area to use with it?
