Opiates suppress the central nervous system, which eventually just makes the drug user to stop breathing as the impulse to breathe cannot be received. Naloxone blocks the receptor opiates attach to, restoring the impulse to breathe. Naloxone doesn't affect the airway in any way, it just flushes out the opiate and keeps more from attaching. Morphine is an opiate and can this. Large doses should cause oxyloss. Naloxone has no pertinent side effects and you can't OD on it. It just blocks a receptor site.

It's not really that hard for a wannabe drug addict to get haloperidol from medbay. It's in syringes next to the straight jackets and muzzles.
