This gives the RD and MD a bit more of an antagonist situation, since one has access to chemistry and the other has a great way to easily apply chemistry. Plus, it can be used for quick treatment of brute and burn by filling it with the topical chems. Maybe even give it a Red Cross to make it distinctive. I think giving the Med Director the Port-A-Medbay Remote and possibly a new portable surgical table would be nice, on top of giving it the SciMaster PDA cart and removing the RD's access to Medbay/Robotics/Genetics and the Medical Channel. Having a custom jumpsuit would be nice. Oh and the RD's access to Medibot chemical stores should be transferred to the MD too.
