What does it do? The idea is fairly simple. It makes use of those GPS's you have, and plots them on an empty plane of the z-level which you can be observed like a map of some sorts.
If you hover your mouse over the a dot, it will state the 4 code word that was tagged by the GPS.
The possibilities of navigating
Throw one near a plasma vein/ whatever, you can see where it is, beacon coded PLSM on my pic,
Tag the mining station with a GPS a beacon called HOME.
Tag yourself, with a beacon, like SUND so other miners can see where you are.
Aren't there places that have beacons already. They should show up too, so you can do some quick scavenging.
