people can ALREADY click on blob with hat to make them wear it.

blobs can't put their own hats on because they are too dumb for the concept of hats and also have no arms

I think... I dunno, I think it'd be cool if you could use the devour item command to hat your blob. It's pretty frigging silly but it'd be so damn cute.

Additional idea: HOS-Approved players automatically have an option to have their blob wear a HOS beret/hat.

One time I tried to attack a blob with a cakehat and it disappeared. I just shrugged and figured that the game ate it to get back at me for trying to use a garish fashion statement as an infinite welder.

Later when it ate me, I saw the cakehat on the overmind. At least it went to good use.
