As of now vampire is severely underpowered. Everything it can do a ling can do better despite the fact that their play-style is near identical. So this thread is for suggestions on how vampire could be fixed. As far as short term solutions that would be easy to implement id suggest greatly increasing the amount of bats spawned by call bats, give universal cool-down reductions, and make grave fever incurable. 
     These solutions would make vampire more empowering to play but wouldn't fix the real issue of it just being a re-skinned and underpowered ling.  To solve this id suggest styling the vampire away from the traditional tropes. In terms of creating a unique antagonist id take inspiration from the vampire's from Jojo's. A few noteworthy abilities they possess are: constant regeneration, Absurd amounts of physical strength, and the ability to enthrall quickly. 
      To make vampire a more unique game mode id shift the focus away from gathering blood to creating minions. To discourage people rushing to give themselves to the vampire the enthrallment should severely weaken them that any competent player should be able to kill 1 on 1. This could be accomplished best by making them into a critter with similar health and damage to a leg spider.  The vampires powers should be unlocked by creating large amounts of slaves rather than collecting large amounts of blood. Blood should still serve as fuel for his/her powers however. The vampire's abilities should be more focused on spawning AI controlled minions to supplement the human thralls/zombies. The vampire itself should be near invincible in combat with constant, fast regeneration and possess a large array of defensive abilities to disrupt wound and escape large groups. Its defensive prowess should greatly exceed its offensive prowess with focus being on escaping or enduring direct conflict. The only way to kill the vampire should be through the use of holy objects. Be it holy water drenched tool boxes or a fire extinguisher filled with a mixture of the chaplains urine and holy water.
 
The idea obviously needs refinement and further thought but I figured id post my ramblings for critique

barely read this but anything that makes vampire more playable (its fun to play but weak and never even shows up in rotation) is good
