Ive seen this cleverly combined with argine

you swallow the pill which freezes you into ice making you invulnerable, and the argine explodes from the low temperature injuring enemies nearby

I patched this at some point, which was later reverted because it caused runtimes for some odd reason, https://forum.ss13.co/showthread.php?tid=6214 there are a lot of things that need ex_act(severity) added to it

The exploit part comes into play when they freeze/hide themself and detonate the bomb inside the ice cube/pod/container with a 1 second timer, with no chance for anyone to escape or even know about it, then emerge completely unharmed.
