I guess this is more of a random event idea:

Evil Twin: A member of the crew is given an evil twin instructed to do horrible things. Said twin is virtually identical from a forensic standpoint and instructed to frame the other person for rude events. Good twin has no idea they have a twin.

DEATHMATCH: The syndicate is looking to train a new batch of operatives and sleeper agents, and to do so they have hijacked the Station and replaced the crew with those who want in...
-ALL players are Traitors with objectives to kill Everyone else.
-of note is that Sec WOULD be Eligible for antag as Everyone Antags in this mode.
-at 40 mins a Nanotrasen Strike team(Color Swapped Syndicate Nuke ops -nuke) would be Assembled(Drawn randomly from dead players + observers who click Yes) and have the goal of eliminating ALL surviving crew
--if the game goes on for another 20 mins or All Syndicate players are dead, then the Strike team "wins"
--if all but one Syndicate is dead before 40 mins has elapsed or more then 40 mins has passed and the strike team is entirely dead + there is only one player left, then that player "wins".
*Cyborgs and AI's are not counted as Surviving players, even if they were alive from round start.
*gamemode Chance should be Equal to Wraith, possibly rarer.
*Make Goon Great again!

Capture the dufflebag: A dufflebag containing high value items and locked with a padlock is placed in the center of the station 5 minutes after round start. Each head (except HOS) is given a status equivalent to revhead and instructed to create an army and steal the contents of the bag for themselves, teleporting it off station with a specially designed crate and cargo teleporter.

Security's job is to act as a auxiliary team, ensuring the bag never leaves the station unless it's via escape shuttle, and also perhaps to serve as referees to keep the station from exploding. Security can also recruit members of the crew to serve as loyalists and undercover snitches and turncoats. The Roundtype only will probably happen if there's more than one head who isn't HOS, and a HOS.

This idea combines a nations style game mode with an actual objective that isn't murder everybody.

that sounds kind of a lot like spies mode, or gangs mode. so i guess it may be worth experimenting with

Mythos: Similar to other servers cults, but in practice something of a mix of blob, wraith, and rev

The primary antagonist is an Eldritch God

The God exists beyond the veil, and can't directly interact with the station but is able to spread it's influence with horror and madness.

Those whose minds are weakened succumb to various effects the god can place on them, and some can be turned into antag like lunatics and cultists. (Cultists can take direct orders from the Elder God, Lunatics are just people driven to barely controlled hostility)

The Elder God needs to use it's influence to bring about a parting of the veil and come into the reality the station exists on.

Space and Syndies: One of the players is a DM and the other have to survive waves of ennemies/problems.

quests game mode: a Quest Item is placed somewhere in the debris field and it is the crews objective to catch it before traitors do. traitors return their quest items to the listening post, crew returns it to security. once a quest item is returned it vanishes and appears in new place. first side to x number of quest items wins, or whoever has returned the most quest items when the shuttle hits centcom (because i fully expect traitor to fuck with crews quest item gathering in devastating ways)
