Salt and green sawdust
#1
Salt, when spread on the floor, should melt ice

Janitors should also get a big box of that green sawdust looking material that they use make it easier to clean spills. Sprinkle it on wet floors to stop slipping.

i remember that green sawdust shit! used it as a janitor a bunch. havent thought of it in years. i dont know how its used elsewhere but it was a godsend in acting like a dirt magnet, and that place had a lot of fuckin dirt. i guess it was the light degree of oily stuff it had been coated with. it paired beautifully with wide push-brooms to pick up dust and dirt quite well without having to get the place wet with mopping, until it became saturated with dirt and had to be dustpanned up and replaced. the only downside was handling the heavy ass boxes of the stuff come restocking time

Misto's gritty floor idea reminded me of this post.

Vote yes for proposition 421 to supply station with green puke eating dust of saw. Oh and the salt idea is neat too.

True to life, melting ice by using salt (on tile or in container) should make shit cold.
