New Crates for QM
#1
At the moment QM has a large variety of crates to order in to help out the other departments. The vast majority of them, however, are kinda useless, as they tend to be full of items that are already plentiful at round-start. Here's a few crates that I think might make cargo a bit more useful:

Restricted Medicine Crate

6000 Credits

(card-locked to medical access)

Contains:
  • 1x bottle of omnizine
  • 2x bottle of perflurodecalin
  • 1x bottle of penetic acid
  • 1x bottle of haldeperiol
  • 1x bottle of ether
It's literally the contents of the MD's locker, and a huge time-saver for any medical doctor making their own chemicals.

Cyborg Crate

4500 credits

Contains:
  • All standard cyborg parts + small cable coil
Similar to the cyborg crate that starts in robotics storage and in the warehouse. It's a nice way to produce borgs quickly, if slightly more expensive than ordering the materials themselves and fabricating borgs from that.

Exotic Materials Crate

15,000 credits

Contains:
  •  Between 1-3 units/nuggets each of erebite, cerenkite, uquil, clarentite and telecrystals
For when the miners are lazy or non-existent, or simply can't dig up the things people are asking for. The high price means it's still better to ask mining, and prevents canny quartermasters from simply reselling the crate on the general market for a profit.

Chemistry Resupply Crate

3000 Credits

Contains:
  • 1 large bottle each of chemical precursors, similar to the locker in chemistry

  • 4 large beakers

  • 2 Beaker boxes
The current chemistry-related crate QM can order is kinda terrible, being nigh-on useless. Give chemistry something they'll use rather that stuff they already have in abundance.

RCD Crate

60,000 Credits

Contains:
  • 1x Empty RCD
An RCD, provided without the ammo, so you can finally make use of all those traders offering RCD ammunition.

Hey! People!

Please yell in to this thread if you have ideas 'cause it was pretty simple coding up the last batch of new cargo orders, so I can do it again here.

Gannets is the hero of the people!

I can't think of any good crate ideas that don't either already exist or have been proposed. A crate of "research chemicals" containing ??? pill bottles?

Pathology: Antibody (antigen? something...) crates. Seriously if people began to learn to cure diseases I'd totally just vend the antibodies and pour them out. No more ability to mass cure.

Summer crate:
-Sun tan lotion (holy water, glitter)

Both are mainly a way to get quick amounts of anti-wraith and vampire materials respectively, while having some extra themed items. Feel free to price it as you seem fair for easy salt/holy water

No they aren't? The material thing in the arc smelter room/mining and stuff does the same thing but better

Computer Part Crate

A crate of computer parts, such as all computer chips, peripherals, drives, etc.

Contents:

All computer chips, peripherals, and anything that can be built into computers.
50x glass panel
50x metal sheet
3 spools of cable

Why I think it could be useful: I just wanted to think of SOMETHING. But, this could have actual use (I.E when the communications console is borked or when there's enough computer nerds)

Price: 1000$
Why?: Chug chug chug.

Name: Distillery Kit

Name: ABC-U Crate
Desc: For the constructive minded.
Contents: 1x ABC-U, 1x Blueprint marker
Price: 2500$
Why?: This would allow the construction of multiple seperate constructs, beyond the limitation of only the ABC-Us on station. It would open up the possibility of some potentially creative builds.
