No. Good detectives are the ones you don't notice and who manage to inform sec without anyone knowing.

then remove the gun and give det's sec locker room access. tasers are much better than stun/bullets. and harm batoning is still an option instead of lethal bullets

remove chainsaws from borgs, with the way the blood system works now it's pretty much a guaranteed kill

Or just make blood/blood track less/non slippery. As cool as it is too see all this blood, I'm kind of tired of slipping all over the blood-covered bar just because somebody got a nosebleed.

Or at least give us a walk toggle hotkey. Granted, that's just a good idea - nothing questionable about it.

you know, there is technology where a blade retracts when it senses contact with flesh. unless those youtube vids with the weiners were fake. could have been. but anyways perhaps the borg chainsaw could be equipped with that. you could get 1 free swipe in on a humanoid target and it turns itelf off so you have to gt your mouse down to turn it back on and then get your mouse back up to the target and

or maybe the borg just plain can't use a rotating chainsaw on a human full stop. they can still hit them with it but it just cuts out and does blunt damage with no bleed at all

Well, the video that went viral actually did use them.

Injecting anima then eating a bee egg should produce some weird kind of bee. Maybe an overbee or something.

Idea based on the sec thread: Make the ID modification computer allow anyone to use it. Yes, anyone. At a cost: People can only give/remove access they have. All access IDs will be rarer, maint access will be given to mostly everyone.

An idea that is probably OP but I kinda want in SS13.

Power exoskeleton.

Take various parts provided by the roboticist scrapped into various mechanical doodads, combine it with armor made on workbench, and hook it up with a higher tier battery, or some kind of elaborate reactor that science could muster up.

At minimal, the power armor could give robotics it's own sort of hulk equivalent, that relies on robot chargers to recharge and lacks perfect heat dissipation since most so it's a pretty bad idea to walk into a fire since the thing may overheat and keep you stuck in one spot. I see that being a pretty good balance because it means you can punch things, but you can still be slowed down and burned by plasma fires and flamethrowers.

Plus the arms and legs are based on cyborg joints and armor so most of the stuff that would let a cyborg walk through fire has been removed to let a human sit inside.

Maybe a syndicate version could let you lift and throw crates and forklifts, but require much of the same effort to build.

edit: Alternatively if mechahulk is too stupid, perhaps it just works like a bunch of metal joints connected to a uniform with no armor save for some metal gloves/boxing gloves to keep people from breaking their hands every time they punch. Maybe it makes you faster + stronger for the duration of time that your battery has power and leaves you immobile if you're still wearing it by the time the power runs out.

The special monkeys should all get their own personal (and non-removable!) IDs with access to the areas they spawn in. For example, Krimpus should get access to botany, Albert research, Mr. Rathen the engine, Mr. Muggles the bar... Monkeys like Tanhony, ???? (Mr. Squiggles!) and Mrs. Muggles, though, should only get IDs without any access (after all, it's the name and title that really matters).

And this way, Albert and ???? (Mr. Squiggles!) won't show up as Unknown anymore! It's a roundabout solution, but...

the forklift should be emaggable so we can re enact staplerfahrer klaus

it would also be nice to see the poor old mulebots get a new lease on life, though i am somewhat unsure as to how. between the cargo transporter, the belts, and good old fashioned "hey come pick up your shit numbnuts" the lil guys dont see much play no more
