Vampires spawn without any access so they need to be invited to get in anywhere

You should be able to throw the bowls of black and white marbles at vampires and force them to count each and every marble before they can go.

The only problem with it would be people would meta game the hell out of it every round. Heads would always begin the round dashing to upload to double check the laws. The malfunctioning ai will electrify and bolt doors immediately to preserve the antag status. The heads then kill switch the ai.
If everything is normal everyone who is involved has their round effectively shortened by a couple minutes.

That is true, seems more like a culture issue though that is hard to address but that is just the glory of ss13. Maybe if they are malf you have to go only to their actual core and destroy them or they could hack some kind of a backup. Either way think it would be cool, even if it was just in conjunction with traitors/syndicates.

I know goon isn't like other servers and that comparing them is a little unfair although I'd still like to share how malf AIs work on other servers. If the game chooses the round to have a malf AI the AI gets a secret law 0 that cannot be seen by anyone but the silicons that are affected by it. The AI also gets a bunch of abilities it can choose from and a couple that it always has, one of them lets it go to a hacked APC (you hack apcs to get points) of your choosing and in this state are much weaker but not dead. Having something similar to this could help with the killswitch issue as making the ai not appear on the console just wastes time and is a very easy antag check for relatively low cost. My vision would be that of a mix of these abilities, the AI could hide by performing X but would become weaker if it did and if someone decides to killswitch it the core would shutdown for a couple minutes to fake a successful killswitch, after that time is up the AI regains control.

I think one main problem with adding Goon Malf AIs is the maps are not made for such things, the AI core is often easy to get to only protected by only a turret or two, compared to the 6+ turrets you can find on other servers.

Another thing to take into consideration is the general harmlessness goon borgs have in comparison to other server particularly the base round start borgs. No weapons to speak of, light shell and the flash weakness would make for a miserable experience for round start cyborgs.

Make some or all of the solar arrays start in some form of broken state ranging from just needing new wires, to needing panels or consoles rebuilt.

Coincidently, what you said is why im attempting to get into map making in my spare time. However i worry that making a station that uses a lot of space, will have the issue of people not seeing each other enough, or be confusing even if the main hallways make sense.

Make Canvas' appear on the layer below lockers for sprite placement. its tedious being unable to close open lockers without rightclicking because the canvas takes up the entire squares sprite and is in the foreground of the locker

A Training day round where its the entire station vs sec. Lets them learn if they are new and helps everyone learn combat, also is hilarious.

That's just a rev round.

increase both the likelihood and frequency of sleeper events over time, such that by 90 minutes 20% of the crew are antags and by 120 minutes 80% of the crew are antags
