The Secret World is an MMO with a good plot, good gameplay, good price (NOT SUBSCRIPTION BASED). It pits three secret societies against each other, while they also try to work together to save the earth or some shit. The societies are the Illuminati, the Templars, and the Dragon; based in New York City, London, and Tokyo, respectively. I actually haven't played it in a while but I remember it being a lot of fun so I'm going back into it today. Maybe I'll make a thread.

it's a great game that everyone should play at least once. make sure you get the latest unofficial patch as it makes the game actually playable and not a broken, buggy heap of shit. (i'd also recommend saving malkavian/nosferatu for a 2nd or 3rd playthrough. malkavian for story reasons and nosferatu for gameplay reasons as you get a masquerade violation if you're seen by a regular human forcing you to use the city's sewer system.)

word of warning if it's your very first time playing:
don't neglect your combat skills. the game is notorious for being rushed and it shows at the end of the game where you fight hordes of enemies.
the kueijin are trustworthy and you should always trust them.
open it. you have everything to gain from opening it.
