Blob Ability - Night Vision - Thermal Vision

Currently playing blob in any dark area is extremely difficult and frustrating given the new and excellent lighting changes. Blobs need a way to illuminate areas or be given night vision. Maybe one type of blob could glow? Or they Could unlock an ability after a certain size that would let them gain vision? Even if the blob hive mind overlay gave more illumination from its center, but right now it seems very difficult.

Just as an end-game "fuck you", turn your blob into a radioactive waste pile that glows in the dark. Or go super ballsy and make yourself a beacon from round start.

I like the glowy idea.
