We can cut down on ghostdrone related crime by removing the ghostdrone's RCD, and letting it use steel sheets for everything else.
Note that this doesn't apply to ASS DAY obviously.
Alternatively, the ghostdrone could have a check that runs and sees if an area's going to be depressurized and has the RCD spew out a message to that effect and prevent them from depressurizing areas.

Instead of making a kneejerk post about limiting the ability for ghost drones to accomplish a task they're designed for because a couple of shitlers are ruining it, how about you use adminhelp on these people that are quite obviously breaking the rules?

could you describe what they are doing with the rcd that is so bad. are they making holes in floors? if theyre doing that outside of ass day report them to get them nailed down. the rcd is the one of the few remotely tolerable ways to build and repair shit

No don't do this. It's hard enough to fucking fix breaches, let the designated repair drones do it since they don't have cold slow/breathing difficulties.

Right now breaches are very powerful due to the rapid atmos loss in the current model, the difficulty of repressurizing a room (takes a lot more gas than it used to it seems like), and the slowdown from cold. They are also very easy to create because of the common occurrence of welding tank explosions and the potency of various easily-produced flaming chem mixes.
The ghost drones are pretty much all that keeps these factors from justifying nerfs to chem or atmos, they should stay as-is.
(the cold slowdown is excessive though, especially when injured - also you should not be able to stay on fire in space!)

and more often than not you don't see drones in a given round, either people stay alive or just like watching as a ghost

Yeah, we've had this discussion; the consensus was to ahelp bad drones.
There was a flood of bad drones at their inception, but this died down just like everything (that isn't poo, bees. or loaf) else.
