I'm throwing in my 2 cents with the "don't touch any of this, leave both drunk and table surgery" lot.
Its not a big deal, nobodys getting their fun ruined either way, so that alone invalidates a reason to put forth the effort to change it. (for me)
Stack on the part where a large number of players are amused by the table-surgery method, and quite like it, and i'm sold.
I think alot of the more crafty SS13 core elements have been slightly watered down by threads such as this, and while some changes are good and have good reasoning, I think we should avoid altering any quirks that people enjoy unless they can be exploited in a way that ruins other peoples fun. Some people might feel strongly enough along this vein that they might want to "Punch you in the face!" I think what I've said is the wordy sentiment behind that expression anyway.
However, drunk surgery should be fixed, if anyones willing to do the work.
