New popup design
#46
for one byond runs horrible under wine anyway so why not use a VM(or just dual boot windows) instead and for two it'd be better to try and resolve the issue instead of just hiding it, no?

BYOND actually runs relatively well in WINE for me, maybe it's just a version that isn't horribly outdated. Running it in a VM, on the other hand, introduces the "white tiles" lighting problem, because of hardware acceleration bullshit.

(Well, besides that, I also prefer standard-looking windows, that don't go changing size when you close them v )

Hardware rendering is a thing that is in VMs
It definitely shouldn't change size if you just close it.

The new RP rules one on #5 animates on opening/closing where the window fades in and shrinks / fades out and expands. Given that it has the side effect of making all the text wrap and shift it looks really goofy.

I implemented my own design because I felt it was better than the rest posted here.

And you can slightly change the BG hue/colour to make other popups stand out more.

Even the oh-so-ugly hotkeys file can easily look a lot better if you add a cool UI to it: [Image: XGIFWy6.png]

Based on that, here's a terminal WIP for everyone to mess around: http://codepen.io/iloveju1897/pen/epoNJR

Would it be possible to implement the ability to choose what style of popups to use (like choosing the hud style) because some of these look neat to me but others probably would like to use something different.
