Let the AI directly possess robots

Why not give the AI both direct control and RTS control? Let it direct floorbots en masse to a hull breach, then it can take direct control over one of them to get the job done faster.

I'm fine with this.

BTW, As an AI you can deploy to a shell and run the manufactures to produce bots as long as there are materials loaded. Incidentally, you can also change out borgs batteries in the docking station this way.
