This is why I can't play at 32x32, my gaming laptop is 1900x1200 and my eyes are bad to begin with. I once set it to 32x32 on that thing and the game became a thumbnail.

This topic is silly (it really doesn't matter, just opinions) but in your BYOND preferences, try going to the 'Games' tab and enabling/disabling the 'Use graphics hardware' option.
Sometimes it can make the stretch-to-fit mode look a little better (depending on what you think is better, obviously).
