Plasmastone gun power cells don't work

I tried crafting a Plasmastone power cell. It let me craft it but the cell itself held 0/0 PU. I was able to install the cell, but the gun wouldn't charge when I put it in the recharger.

I don't know if this is the case for Cerenkite, Erebite or Char cells, but Plasmastone cells won't hold any charge despite being accepted in the workbench's crafting UI and used to create a cell.

Smelt it with some Pharosium or Clarentine

I suppose you need to put conductive materials with it?
