Mechanics components, and scripts.

This may be completely unfeasible, but I'd love to see a mechanics component which took an input and moved. For example, sticking a teleporter to a pad, then you could have script on a computer with a network component with a predetermined path set up. Or something like a turret which would move up and down firing, something along those lines. These are just a couple of thoughts with my limited knowledge of mechanics, I'm sure those who really know what they're doing could think up some damn creative uses for a component with a bit more of a mechanical interaction with the world.
