1. Eat a thing
2. That thing is now in your stomach
3. The thing will slowly digest in your stomach, until it is completely dissolved by your stomach acids.
4. As things digest, chems and reagents contained in them will becoming mixed with your stomach acids. Liquids are immediately mixed with the acids.
5. Puking and surgery can remove things from your stomach
6. Things that come out of the stomach give you an idea how long ago it was eaten based on how dissolved it is.
7. Analyze stomach contents and puke to determine the source of poisonings. Was it the chef's hamburger, or the barman's drinks?
Maybe even add the ability to swallow some items, with the possibility of it damaging your stomach and causing internal bleeding. Puke up blood!
