Funny thing that you mention sandwich boards cause I was thinking of suggesting this very thing. The wearable sign should function as a double sided sign if not worn by anyone.

Wearable signs should function like transferable labels (i.e. The sign text is put in parentheses after the person's name) so I can finally live out my SS13 dream of giving the Captain a "KICK ME" sign.
