If you die next to the genetics console while the window is still open, you can still use the console like normal. I found this own when a wizard cluwned me, and a man named Elliot Dalton (a Vice Officer) took it upon himself to slice me up with a razor blade until I bled out.

I made him into a deaf, epileptic, radioactive, muscly, x-ray, drunk albino tommy wishehaheau who randomly slaps himself. All while dead next to the console, because I managed to stuff him into the scanner and lock it before I died.

As hilarious as this was, this is a bug that should at least be archived as one. It's not a super serious problem because I doubt it will come up much.

This is the Cluwne's/Geneticist's (same thing) Curse, similar to the Maecho Curse. The spiteful outcast inflicts pain and misery even in death.
