Why did the .22 bullets get removed from the general manufacturer? Please bring them back!

Ya, I found this out as soon as I built my first gun. The wiki still says that .22 ammo can be acquired from a hacked vendor, but I don't see anything. What are the other ways of even GETTING .22 ammo?

Here's an idea for bullets. Have the .22 eject shell casings on the ground when fired. Use these casings and gunpowder to somehow make more.
