Wally-392 responding to a non-present automaton

Wally-392, upon coming to the solarium, will remark that he's being screamed at in a foreign language by the automaton. As of current writing, the automaton isn't actually present on the ship and thus Wally-392 is being screamed at by nothing. Shouldn't his response change?

I thought he was interfacing with the ship, I mean, he could be linked to the ships systems remotely, or maybe he's actually a space man god that is everywhere and nowhere.
