Cyborg activation on artifacts

This isn't the first time this has been suggested but could you make it so that artifacts be activated when the person has a cybernetic arm?
As someone who plays with artifacts it's very frustrating to go through all the activation techniques only to find it cannot be activated because there is no borg present/willing/lawful to do so.
Having it that it requires a cybernetic arm would make use of the test chamber for a scientist quick on his toes would know that there's a buddy construction kit with an arm already in there afaik. Also add one stapler in the test chamber
It wouldn't be a short process to get the arm replaced by any means, but at least it's better than no process.
Also make more artifacts react to chems. That's an interesting activation method, although they should me simple chems, base chems imo.
