Wasn't sure exactly how to paraphrase it for the title and honestly not sure how to even explain it, so I'll just give the example I found
The gas extractor manufacturer in engineering has a CO2 canister recipe which calls for 3 "sturdy metal" and 20 of "any material". If you fill it up with just mauxite, it will use its 3 required "sturdy metal", but will then use the same 3 mauxite for "any material", needing then only 17 more, the end result being a CO2 canister for only 20 metal, rather than the proper 23. I guess the problem is the the two reagents don't talk to each other and say "hey man, I'm already using this mauxite, fuck off, get your own" or some shit idk
I don't even know how I noticed this or if there is even any other recipe in the game that could have this problem
