New Borg Frames
#16
Even better, make it so the slenderborg can only use it's tools two tiles away or on a diagonal. If you get right in it's face, it flails around but can't hit you. v

HandBorg

x1 Head x1 Chest x2 Mobility Units x2 Human/Monkey/Wendigo Arms.

The HandBorg would only have one tool slot (chest) but has the ability to pick things up and do hand things. This means the HandBorg can do things like load a dead body into a cloner, insert a brain into a borg, put things into a container, snuggle Heisenbee, etc. However, HandBorgs can't do complex things with their hands. They can't choke, fire a weapon, use a stun baton (has the same effect of harm-batoning with an on baton), flash, or anything like that. It can pick up, insert, and it can do a first level grab, but that's about it.

Captain_Bravo Wrote:Instead of tying it to modules, make it about parts. Give alternate construction possibilities for borgs.

Example: RideBorg.

x1 Borg Head x1 Borg Chest x1 Borg Treads. Makes a borg that only has access to one slot, and has no arms, but moves quickly and humans can click-drag themselves onto it to go for a ride!

Example: Spiderborg.

x1 Borg Head x1 Borg Chest x2 Borg Right Arms x2 Borg Left Arms. Makes a borg with arms for legs. Has access to five slots, but can only move at regular speed if four slots are empty. If you have more than one tool out, the borg crawls along at a snail's pace. Allows for a borg to move somewhere, then pull out a shitload of tools and work quickly.

Example: BorgBuddy

x1 Borg Head x1 Borg Chest. Makes a player-controlled robuddy with a borg head. Is super speedy, and can pass through flaps, but only has access to one slot and must return to a recharging station in order to change that slot.

Example: ButtBorg

x1 Borg Head x1 Borg Treads x1 Butt. Makes a player-controlled buttbot.

This sounds like the best way to implement it. It would also be nice if the manufacturers included kits that had all the pieces and assembly directions.

Those are also good recipes, though the Borg buddy should probably also need treads.

Another thread about borg frames (more specifically one borg frame) has been made, so I'm going to post the link to it here.
