TAKE CHARGE WHEN YOU GOT AN APP UP! NOBODY WILL MIND UNLESS YOU TAKE THE THUNDER OF A FRESHLY MINTED HOS! WE HATE WORKING SO DO THE HARD WORK FOR US SO WE CAN DRINK US TO DEATH AT THE BAR AND GET OUR SHOES STOLEN! NOBODY WILL BE MAD EVEN IF YOU WERE TO FUCK UP, EFFORT IS HALF THE BATTLE AND IT'S STILL A LEARNING EXPERIENCE.
serious though: you don't have to fix every issue, just support your team, be fair to other gamers and don't be a dick for no reason. With how busy HoS are at almost any given point they'd be more than happy to have somebody lead the team while the HoS deals with command specific issues or get's their tie unstuck from their locker.
