In my opinion, cyborgs are pretty fleshed out, but that doesn't mean they shouldnt ever be touched again. That being said, this idea is purely just for RP and doesnt really add anything game mechanic wise, and is just something I randomly thought up just now in my big ol' brain of mine.
I've seen cyborgs RP "never really been human" or "dont remember how they were as human", including myself, and thought It could be interesting if cyborgs could choose which brain they have (Organic or SICC) at the beginning of the round. I'd imagine this would be achieved through the character customization under "cyborg name preference" or whatever.
Obviously SICCS already have a use as being a way for late-joiners to be able to play cyborgs, but this addition in my opinion could help people with their robo-rp.
This idea is dumb and stupid, hence the thread name, and there's definitely other things to worry about than this. Thought I should share it though regardless before I forget or something.
Some cons I thought of were cyborg "bioshell" characters. Because if this was the case then the brain of the "bioshell" would also have to be a SICC for consistency, if they selected to have one, and I dunno anything bout coding but I'd imagine this might be a hindrance. And would also allow normal human characters to have SICC's which is kinda weird and dumb???
Pros: Idea is cool and awesome and im not biased. Also potentially more RP
Cons: Definitely probably a pain in the ass to implement and not worth it
