New cargo crate
#1
The network (re)construction crate. This comes with pretty much the bare essentials to have a functional mainframe, plus peripherals like the network radio. This is either for repairing the computer core after one of those godforsaken TTV nerds reduces it to rubble, or for building your own network room for fun. The machines start as frames, and can be deployed with a soldering iron.

The mainframe is very powerful and intentionally not buildable elsewhere because then you could build a telesci setup wherever you want and go kill everyone from wherever, though I do agree I love things being repairable this will 100% be abused, as the one on whatever azone it is with one is abused.

Possible solution, when the mainframe (and its components) are destroyed they leave behind a damaged sprite, about 5 minutes later Central Command sends an announcement and sends in a crate to repair it to cargo. The crate contains special repair tools and materials that can ONLY be used on the damaged mainframe components.

Thus making the mainframe repairable while also not allowing it to be built elsewhere

Yea it kinda sucks most of the station stops functioning when the mainframe is blown up...

It's so frustrating. I see potential cool builds you could make, but they're held back by how limited the construction system is. Or with repairs, I hate how a lot of machines are just GONE if you didn't mechscan them. Or if you want to build, say, a hydroponics area offstation, you have to break into botany for that instead of just ordering a crate.

Unfortunately (not really) you do indeed need to interact with others to do things in this game, especially on rp with the whole stay in your lane rule. If you wanna mess around with stuff on your own you can always make a private server mess around with admin commands
