man, it sure would be rad if we could make custom colored medkits..
for those that like to make their own, of course!
here's a simple (albeit a bit unfitting) idea - custom medkit colors!
the medical fab can now make Blank Medkits, which can be colored by applying hair dye to them. you can color the cross, inner square, and outer part!
simple as.. a whole system dedicated to coloring specific parts of a sprite, i suppose. uhhm..
You can also re-name them with a hand labeller!
nothing about the medkit changes besides the sprite & name, though.

We have functional code for the spacebux purchaseable items and jumpers/scarves so it seems feasible (for an actual coder not me I'd mess it up but you get the idea) I do scratch my head a bit at why specifically we'd want colour-customized first aid kits of all things given they're usually pretty disposable, they're not a worn sprite and so on, but I suppose it might be nice for medbay organisers or some really niche "prank" of making a fake antitox kit with floorpills in it, or giving you custom medibot chassis?
Don't get me wrong I'm absolutely fine with the idea, just why specifically first aid kits? Is there a cool thing I'm missing here?

not really, you're not missing anything. i just think it'd open some neat venues for another thing to sell / pack for azones (custom first aid kits packed with stuff the typical ones don't have) or just organization for bored medstaff's sake

Hmm, to be fair I hadn't considered the selling angle, could go for thematic coloured lunchbox-arrangements using them too, or sneaking in manufacturable containers you can colour on that mindset.
Definitely have no problem with the idea though. Hope someone picks it up.

It’s important to note: this feature is purely cosmetic. The medkit’s functionality, healing stats, or use time do not change. Only its sprite and name are updated, making this feature perfect for roleplay, team organization, or just having fun.
