Let us conceal things under floor tiles
#1
There's enough room under there for big ass disposal pipes and wires and stuff, so logically you should be able to fit other things under there.

This is in no way related to me wanting to hide the bible under a floor plate and trick people into farting on it v

That would rather defeat the point of the Floor Closet, wouldn't it?

Tiny items only? (trick cigarettes under the floor + heat = oh no)

Maybe medium. Tank transfers and large right?

this is like the biggest reason for the floor closet, you can drag it over things to hide them.

Ursula is right on the money, this is one of the many devious secrets of the floor closet. In fact, this is why the floor closet exists; it'd be incredibly ridiculous if every player could hide shit wherever they wanted just by using a crowbar. Keep it limited to traitors, it's only one telecrystal for God's sake!

Tank transfer valves are bulky items, one step above large - the biggest, in fact. It was done to make hiding the bombs harder.

Maybe if someone could build a false floor this would be neat ), but obviously aside from drug dealer gimmicks there's not much point since traitor already has the floor closet.

Better idea: Allow hiding specific things under floor tiles.

Mostly electrical components like the Mechanic's stuff, or perhaps a construction like Remote Signaler + steel floor tile = pressure plate?

Then you could build it and stick it in the middle of that little gateway between Research and the main hallway and have it open up both doors on either side to let people who get stuck inside out kitty face

Mechanics already has pressure plates.

Letting mechanics hide stuff under tiles would be horrible. Their teleporters and shit are already annoying enough.

Yeah, I mostly mean something anybody could make, that wouldn't be part of/tie into the other Mechanic items.

Very true. I'd assume that any Mechanic parts hidden under a floor wouldn't be able to cause any effects to people standing above it, so teleporters/gravitrons wouldn't work but things like pressure sensors and sound synths would work fine.

That'd make it a little less abusable, at least!
