Reason for application: Since my last application, I've gained a lot of confidence and experience applying the feedback I've received. Its given me room to improve, both in Security and in roleplay. Since my last app, I've tried working with the feedback I was given, which i think worked pretty great! (Thanks y'all!) It opened my eyes to a lot of opportunities while playing.
The main one I could feel was the fact that I've stopped caring as much about being robust. Instead, I play Security a bit sillier and more relaxed while still making it fun and engaging both for the security team I'm working with and the antagonists. A Wizard is going around stealing things? Dress in a Mx. blorbo suit and claim I'm space IRS and I've come to seize their assets.
I've had a lot of the classic security moments like batonning crimers, tazing Syndicate agents, dying to said agents, and laughing so hard my ribs hurt. I think that's great! I've also, of course, had a lot of great rounds with a lot of equally great people in the sec team (shoutout to you all!) and showed the ropes to a lot of the new security assistants. Seeing them grow to be confident, equally-great secoffs has been really satisfying.
Another thing that I'd like to note on my experiences as a whole is giving myself some fun rounds being a silly Lizard that runs around in the halls, spending time in the bar and interacting with people, gasping when I see someone, roaming around poking people with my baton.
Seeing myself slip into a vending machine because the antag clown put super lube down in the hallways and watching as everyone ice-skates around the halls is genuinely something that I enjoy. Winning and losing doesn't make a difference, just as long as I finish a round with a smile on my face! In the end, that's what matters to me the most, since it's just a game about space and farts at the end of the day. I don't think it's really worth taking it that seriously.
Answer two or more of the following:
What advice would you give to other sec players:
I have some advice that I'd like to share!
1. Use your comms! I know its simple, i know its cliche, but having the entire team being very responsive overall is often a lot more fun and engaging.
2. Don't stress over things you cant control. Sometimes sec is hell, sometimes sec is blessed(cursed) with 3 antags. Getting a dozen calls? Focus on what you can, you are, above all else, a simple human like me and cant be at everywhere at once. Deal with what you can, when you can.
3. Remember to take breaks. This one also feel like a cliche, but I feel like it's necessary: Sec as an whole is deeply rooted in chaos, sometimes you cant deal with everything. Go to the bar, have a drink, talk to people.
4. My final one is biased by my silliness, but try to not take things too seriously! It's a game meant to be enjoyable. Be silly, do backflips, point at the clown, go around in segways while blaring your siren. Let the silliness run free!
What's a security gimmick that you've ran or wanted to run:
My mind has been full of gimmicks that I want to run, but a main one is >>>> Witch Sec!!!! <<<< The main idea is that Sec dresses up as witches (arc plated to look red) and go around arresting crimers while using their lightining wands (tasers) and paralyze sticks enchanted with thunderbolt (stunbatons). I think that'd be great.
Previous bans (while this will not affect your application lying about it will): I got admin pm'd 2 times in the start of my career, but to my knowledge no bans were given.

So in classic violeta fashion i forgot to answer the second question.
:" What was one of your favorite security moments? (Either playing as a sec officer or interacting with one: Think it was an time when we had salevran on interro. We knew they were a ling. But apparently they had some beef towards the chef. So when we finally decide to execute him(sal) i let the chef into security so they can get some rp out of it. I dont remember what they said. But i remember laughing a lot in Looc about it. Definetly a moment i enjoy a lot"

Kafka/Vega are always welcome additions to the security team. Always adding to the round and being fair to play against/into.
Generally helpful to players. You have my support.
+1
You would be a credit to the cape and it would nice to rebuild Morty's HoS list since most of them left or play on.... sylvester

Hi! Here to give my feedback. I'll try to cover the points i think are most important to the best of my abilities.
- When it comes to communicating I honestly think you do a good job, i've never ever found myself in a situation where i'd hope you talked more over the radio or explained what's going on better since you already do it. I think you're always ready to respond to anything and even if you're in the middle of something you dont lose focus and always keep an ear on the radio. And when it comes to communication and teamwork it doesn't stop there, you do a good job knowing when to delegate stuff and when to take things upon yourself.
- I like how you deal with antags, you know when to escalate, you know when to give them some breathing room and you know how to "play along" with their gimmick to add more fun to the round. You're also fair apprehending them, i haven't seen you punish antags in excess or being too lenient.
- Training new officers is not something i think i've seen a lot of, but that's mainly cause I havent been in rounds with newer secoffs that I can recall recently, but from what i know about you and what i've seen i know you'd do your best to teach them the ropes and that you'd do a good job.
- You interact a LOT with everyone, security or not. This i think is something great and something that's important and you do a great job at it. Whenever there's not a pressing issue to take care of, you're out there talking with people and having a good time roleplaying with them. I love this kind of stuff.
Now, something you should be careful dealing with is burnout. It's not easy being a security crewmember, it can be very frustrating at times and it can take a mental toll, for a HoS though? Turn that up to eleven. It can be a very demanding position and you have to be able to handle the stress that can come with the position. You do know when to take a break though and that's a great thing.
I really like how you now care more about the fun of the game, instead of focusing on robustness and so on and so forth, and I can say that in-game i've seen this. You know how to chill and have fun with others while still being good at your job and I feel like this is important.
For me this is a +1

Violeta has always been a positive driving force since I first met her, and I think Security has been her home since I first saw her too. She loves to let an antagonist get rolling and talk to them before going in for the fight, which is an incredibly important quality to have as a Head of Security, in my opinion. Focused more on letting things play out in an interesting way, rather than the "catching the bad guy and being the hero" mentality that some fall victim to.
Ultimately, I think she'd be a very good presence to have as a Head of Security. I vouch for her wholeheartedly.

I played many rounds with Kafka and I always enjoyed her in the team because she brings a very positive attitude with her.
She communicates a lot and is in general a good secoff, that's why I recommended her to begin with.
One thing I think is also important to mention is, even if you are not HoS its helpful to either give orders to other secoffs or suggestions threw the radio, it helps a lot so the team stays more organized, even doing this while an HoS is currently in the round can help them a lot, I for example am always thankful for the players who take some things of my shoulders when im playing HoS because a lot of people are mostly coming to you as HoS because of your status and rank.
So keep that in mind thats important that you need to be able to give out orders.
But yeah I think Kafka would be a good addition to the HoS so a +1 from me

I've been Violeta around a fair bit recently. A solid member of any security team and readily takes initiative in good ways. Very active and happy to roll play and both tell her own stories, and interacting with others. I also had a experience where I saw 3 sec assistants join the game at the same time. And saw Vega instantly jump to asking if anybody would like teaching, spending the rest of the shift explaining secmate to a newer member of the team.
I'd feel very comfortable seeing them with the cape and fancy hat from everything I've seen. +1

This is going to be pretty short on two basis, if you want more in-depth feedback let me know of course but:
One, the general feedback you've had matches what I'd say: You're generally a positive force both in the community and as a security member and I think it would just be a repetition to cover that in more detail. You also play regularly enough that I think that's generally known information.
Two, because you play often enough, I suspect the admins see you enough it would be a bit redundant to add specific examples. So for now, +1 and just a general reminder not to burn out if you get it or take it badly if you don't. Good luck in the application!

Violeta is generally good-spirited and easy to get along with, there's no situations in my recent memory where she seemed to be trying to "win" the game on RP or anything like that. Her decision making seems cohesive from the first minute of the round to the last and while I've never seen her being anyone's boss, she's always being someone's role model. Everything else I could add has already been touched on by other replies.
Violeta, your sense of humor is your strength and you do a great job at upholding a sense of community within sec, thank you.

I've been playing low pop a bit more and based on the times I've seen Violeta around and interactions recently, She has a positive and welcoming attitude with how she interacts with people, both in how she treats crew and other officers with being very interactive and attentive, while also showing understanding and the ability to handle antags and tough rounds in a healthy level headed way, keeping things fun and fair by giving antags time to escalate and build up, without being too harsh or lenient.
I've been around less and not played security in a bit so I can't say much on recent interactions with working on the same security team but what I have seen and observed fits what's been brought up in the other replies and so I believe you have the knowledge and healthy Attitude in game and out to be a postive influence on the round and team you'd be leading as HoS!

I’ve had a lot of time to watch Violeta and for once, I’ve actually been trying out security so I have relevant feedback regarding that too! I’ll preface this by giving my immediate ‘verdict’; the details to follow will be for Violeta as a player and just to help with general judgement calls for anyone reading.
I am largely neutral leaning to a +1 on this, but might want to see a BIT more change before I’m comfortable with the full support.
Now for details!
Starting off positive, I had a very frustrating round (not because of you!) working alongside your character Kafka yesterday. We had an issue with a lot of ‘minor’ crimes piling up into something far more effort than it was worth dealing with. Eventually, we settled on exile, then escalated to execution. All the while, we had several members of the crew getting upset with security for how we handled this situation. I found myself getting emote glared at and told off for our decisions that round— and quite frankly, it sucked. HOWEVER: Kafka was unafraid to exile and execute a troublesome crewmember, and was totally willing to listen to the security team’s input as to what we wanted to happen that round. This is excellent imo: this wasn’t a case of ‘security getting bored on extended and getting violent’, but rather, a decision the team came to unanimously (with Kafka in full support) after a frustrating series of events that led us there. It’s common to see security be a little too lax on people that are taking minor crime too far, so it was a relief as a member of the security team to have support with getting rid of the trouble.
To end that round off security had some laughs on shuttle and Kafka rewarded everyone with numerous objects from their bag. Very funny, goofy, a good way to lighten the mood. 10/10 experience there!
My only main concern is as follows:
It feels rare to see you finish out a round on the same character you started with. This is not counting rounds where you’ve died and respawn (because this is totally fine) or rounds where you’ve had to cryo early and log off for the day. Let me emphasize that cryoing is totally fine and I’m happy to see people comfortable with it when they need a break.
My concern here is that I’ll see you join security on one character. Play for … twenty minutes or more— and then cryo suddenly. Then, when the respawn timer is up, you’re back on a different character playing security after observing for a bit. I won’t be sitting here and claiming you’re using any information you get from observing to help you, because I haven’t seen any indication of that— but it’s just something to be mindful of. This happens quite a lot, and I worry what might happen if you as the HoS struggle to finish a full round without cryoing to swap to a different security character.
Using cryo and taking breaks is fine, I have no issue with this. For me, I just worry that it will get in the way of the rounds in general if you are playing a command/security role and using cryo in this way moving forward.
My advice is that if you need a break, maybe just cryo and don’t observe if you still want to play security that round? You could still come back on your original character after walking away for the time you need. I know you’ve been sick recently OOC and I’m sure that contributes too, and I would never blame you for taking breaks because of that. I just think that leaving and coming back on other characters out of the blue starts making the security team a little confused at times.
Anyways, I’ll stop rambling on and on. I hope this is helpful in general. Please don’t take any criticisms personally, as the positives are still very good. This is just a bit of advice from a newer, still-learning security player to you, one that is a bit more familiar than I am. Like I said, in terms of support I am neutral leaning into positive.
Good luck!

Good luck! Heya Torchwick(or jay) i'll take this into account too, thank you for the helpfull feedback and the kind words too i want to say two things, one is that i'm indeed a bit on and off sick as you've already said
About cryoing i'll work on it i again thank you for the help feedback and i hope i can work more in sec with you on the team. Take care and have a Nice day/evening/night.
