I actually kind of like a spicy session of emergency surgery that lowpop appendicitus brings, I've had some good experiences and some very funny ones from it. I can say the same about meteor strikes and even ion storms as much as I have regularly made a joke that lowpop AI's job is basically "become APC fixer 5000", it helps make some fun little reasons to go visit the few people around or cluster together to deal with a problem.
But I appreciate I'm not the only person playing this game and classic might also have a bit of a different experience. From where I've been on classic actually people are even more willing to perform ill-practiced medicine but I've got like a 1:10 ratio of playing it compared to RP so it's not really fair to generalise.
So I guess it's more of a case of: Does this bug lots of people or not. If lots of people pipe up and say "Yeah please change it" Sounds good to me, if lots of people go "Nah I like it" maybe not. I don't think the world would end from either honestly.
