Clapping emote

This is my first ever post on the forums, so uh, there's that I guess. But this is my suggestion!

    As it stands right now, clapping is already an emote in the game. You can custom emote it, or just type *clap and your character will do it. That's cool and all, but imagine how much cooler it would be if your claps of approval were audible? No longer would you have to *snap at someone to mimic applause like some kind of office party that isn't allowed to be too loud. You could have rounds of applause for musicians, artists, anything that deserves it I suppose. Maybe you could even use it sarcastically like a slow clap.

   My idea is that the *clap emote should be:
  • Bound to CTRL + C
  • Have an audio clip of a handclap play
  • Maybe have half the cooldown that other emotes do, so you can really REALLY cheer for someone/something

I kind of like it, but I also feel like to prevent the station becoming an audible clap nightmare you go the other way: the clap emote would have a longer cooldown if possible. This means that if you're alone: it's not going to sound like great clapping, or a perfect slow clap (for antagonists) But if you're in a group, perhaps watching a wedding or performance, multiple people clapping makes it work.

Either that or just keep it on par with all other audible emotes and just have it play a short "clap clap clap" probably a fairly soft one so it doesn't sound like I'm being attacked by a slap gang if more than two people do it.

I am surprised we don't already have audible clapping. We got snapping.

Sounds like a good idea, imo reducing the cooldown is not really necessary if you get a proper clapping sound.
Also a sarcastic clap mayhaps?

more audible emotes in general. Yawns, sniffs, crying, etc.

Audible coughs could be HILARIOUS in certain contexts
