Burning bodies to ashes

it just seems kinda silly that you can be rotted, exploded into gibs, and have all sorts of things happen to them. yet you cant burn away bodies.
Now, before you start whining on how this will make cloning a pain in the ass, let me just give some details.
First of all, the process should be slow (unless you are in a raging fire) and when your dead body burns away it will leave behind some things:
The non flammable equipment you had on you, so shoes and jumpsuits and stuff would have burned away.
And a pile of Boney Ashes

The ashes would be unable to be picked up easily. If someone clicks on them with their bear hands they would get a message like this:
"You reach into the pile and pick out a bone, then immediately toss it back into the pile. Yuck."
And if you have a Urn (or a cup for ghetto style) you can scoop the ashes into it, and bring it to genetics and place it in the scanner, and clone them. Though when you eject them out of the scanner they blow away into the station ventilation system.
IMO it just seems silly this kind of thing hasn't been added.

It'd be interesting to have it as an alternative to chucking the bodies out an airlock or in the crusher, certainly. Maybe have a timer for corpses that are engulfed in flames? After a minute or so of merrily burning in the maintenance shaft, all thats left is ash and charred gristle.


What if there was also some somewhat annoying/hard to do method that would turn a corpse into a husk, so as to start changeling panics?

That is kinda what I was aiming for. I mean I have seen bodies just sit in an area completely engulfed in flames and no one cares. it just sits there burining away.

Don't even need a Tank Transfer Valve. Just make a single-tank bomb with medium pressure and it'll take out a coffin no problem.

Hell, you can go all the way. Stick the camera helmet on the corpse, give the timer about 12 seconds, and plop a television down in the middle of the chapel. It's how he would have wanted to go.

The time required for cremation varies from body to body, and, in modern furnaces, the process may be as fast as one hour per 45 kg (100 lb) of body weight.
