While I am happy to add a way.. I don't want everyone with the knowledge to make guns, to be able to use them.
The reason NO ONE BATS AN EYE AT THE ZIPGUN, is because it's ammo is security open or not craftable.
Flamethrowers cannot be put away so that's their downside and you cannot reload them easily.

the zip gun ammo is craftable you just have to hack the general fabricator
