Could I write some music for Goonstation?
#1
So I've played on and off for years and I've written some music for quite a few indy films and series. Would it be of any interest to anyone if I wrote some stuff for our wonderful Goonstation?

Here are some pieces I've done though I'd like to do something truly original. I'm happy to spend a long time on getting us some really groovy musics!

More records for the Radioman always is good in my book. I would encourage you to get in contact with Devs and Admins directly though.

if you have a discord and are willing to join the goonstation discord server linked on the forum homepage, there is a channel in there specifically for audio development projects that other contributors and devs collaborate in

I've played your "I like Killing Monkeys" song for the station once or twice with admin music. It was well received. Instant classic.

I feel like the radio station should have a new place for records/tapes. A rack or closet where they are stored.
It's kinda silly the advertisement is in the bin. And you only get access to 2 record labels + 1 random set in your pocket.
If anything if more music is added to the selection. Everything should be in there.

Yes this might increase people hijacking the station to play DJ... but thats why the closet/rack is locked by radio ID

Yes I believe that is the point.

Overall yeah, "The Virus" OST had some real atmospheric stuff, would be nice to see some more combat/threatening music like that.
