Basically the 1-9 keys can be loaded with a custom emote with shift (number) and then be used with ctrl (number)
Why? Because it’s so damn useful to not have to type out stuff every time you need to express something and being able to preload 9 custom emotes is not bad at all. Just give a cool down like current emotes

As someone who uses custom emotes constantly, even typing out things like Fleur DeLaCreme salutes! or Fleur DeLaCreme nods enthusiastically! I would be in favor of being able to set up a few commonly used ones in advance.

I was thinking of this recently as well. I'd like to be able to do certain emotes more frequently but im not the fastest typist in the world. I was imagining being able to bind new emotes to emote hotkeys, like replacing *snap on ctrl+z with *knuckles for example, but this would work just as well, I think, if not better.
