Traitor item suggestion: Syndicate foam gun

Somewhat self-explanatory, a ~4 TC special foam dart gun or item that you attach to the foam gun which has a variety of applications. It would, of course, be exclusive to staffies and clowns.

1: Allow the user to add up to ten units of a reagent to the item similar to the syringe gun. Successful hits with the dart will add .5 u to the person's bloodstream and also apply the touch effect. The reasoning here is that it would be sneaky at the cost of you having to pump a lotta darts at somebody in order to do any real damage, or allow for a fast phlog-and-run attack type. Both leave the door open for possibilities

2: Come with a box or two of special syndicate foam darts, which would deal some stamina damage per hit and have a distinct sprite. Maybe these darts would be better at delivering poison actually into people at the cost of revealing to the crew your affiliations as well, or maybe they'd just be for a fast takedown. Stamina damage would be best at half that of the taser, so that a lot of concurrent shots would be the only way to down somebody.


Justification:

1: Even if it was a syndicate foam gun and not an attachment for a very, very expensive item you can buy, you'd have to buy ammo for it. Since staffies don't get paid much, this evens out, and encourages them to get ammo money from other, potentially murderous means.

2: It would give people a reason not to just stand there as you pelt them with foam, both as a crew and antagonist. If there's a potential danger to letting someone shoot you twenty times with foam, it'll make folks react a lot more genuinely when you're just shitting around and blasting sec for the fun of it

3: Reagents are hard to come by for staffies, so it makes people who want to use the gun effectively have to either hack into somewhere, or convince a friend to get them poisons, which elevates the skill ceiling needed to use it properly.

Other comments:

Perhaps emagging the gun in this state will have a fun effect, like allowing for full-auto foam barraging, or increasing the capacity.

Similar to poison bottles and extra 357 ammo, one might want to split the syndicate foam darts and the dart gun into separate items, so that way you can restock your syndicate ammo without buying another entire gun

Another thing to give to honk ops??

Probably possible to mess with the syringe gun code to make something similar, would have to decide on what exactly the darts should do.

No, nerf guns should be toys and you shouldn't have to worry that anyone who has one is a traitor.
The chems make it even worse,  then you just can't shoot anyone with them, they'd immediately be scared.
C-Sabers/toy swords are already filling that niche, this is just less fun

as the creator of toy guns this sums up my feelings on this suggestion
