New traitor item: microbomb cloner attachment
#1
Lightbulb
The microbomb cloner attachment would be a traitor item for medical doctors, geneticists, and robotics that when attached to a cloner replaces all of the health implants with special microbomb implants instead. There would be no indication that the item was attached to the cloner other than trying to remove it with a screwdriver.

The special microbombs would act similarly to a health implant but explode upon death of the host and delete the clone record. To prevent  infinity microbombs from being farmed implants would turn to dust when removed from a host.

I’m unsure about pricing but 6 or 7 tc sounds like a good amount to me. If you have thoughts/ideas on this please comment.

No to 0 indication the item was added imo. Microbombs gib corpses and deleting the clone record is super mean.

This doesn't sound fun in any way other than for the traitor who gets to take several people out of the round permanently, leaving no clone record or brain, with no risk of being detected and prevented.

Maybe the brain could be forced to drop upon detonation of the bomb? Or maybe an indicator on the console of sorts.

this would be pretty fun if it didn't delete the cloner record which feels a bit extra

just silently implanting microbombs in people who get cloned though? love it

Yeah honestly if the deleting clone records thing was removed and patients were given a modified health implant that doubles as a microbomb, that'd be amazing. Would *love* to see a chain reaction, too.

Though, notably, the implant should revert to a normal health implant if it's cut out, so you can't farm infinite micros. This way they don't have to turn to dust, since they just revert to a normal implant. Also makes it harder to tell if the thing has been sabotaged ;]
