Human Cargo in Pod storage

I'm going to tell you exactly what happened so there is no necessary stuff.

Laser weapons system installed onto Pod(the large kind)
Lock also installed onto Pod.
I put a friendo in crate.
Stuff the crate with friendo inside of it in the pod storage.
Board the pod and we go off the station.
Shot by a drone and the pod blows up.
I die but the friendo remains somehow as when i observe him i see a black screen and i see him talk in chat, that confirms he's still alive.
Admin, Bunmo, teleports him to medbay.
The end.

Crate space survival may not make a huge amount of sense, but last I checked it is not considered a bug.

i think the bug is that when the pod exploded, the friend was still alive and able to talk despite the crate being destroyed with the pod.

Basically, his friend was sent to a pocket dimension due to the pod thing...

Yeah, I guess I didn't realize he meant that the crate was destroyed along with the pod.

Precisely. Give it a go if you want, because it's pretty easy to recreate. I think the only exploitability of this is if someone is an antag, they can use this to complete one of their objectives, despite requiring a pod, a crate, and someone willing.
