BMAG - Biological Manipulator
#1
Lightbulb
The BMAG or Biological Manipulator is a traitor item that forces an identity change on the target. While initially similar to a reusable DNA scrambler it has significant other effects that vary between hijinks and useful.

Race, appearance, voice, accent and age are randomised. The effect is not permanent, lasting a few minutes. 5% chance to shrink them.
You cannot use the BMAG on yourself.
Eating a BMAG is incredibly unwise.

Using the BMAG on animals will give a short stun and either drive them into a murderous rage or transforms them into another creature. This can either make them completely harmless or extremely dangerous.

Use on detached limbs turns them into buttcrab/eyespider/handspider/legworm.

Balance:
Could have a built in power cell (non replacable) that recharges like a Rad Poison Crossbow. This lets you get a couple of uses (4?) in a row before having to recharge.
Use on a humanoid could have a cast time and/or sound or effect.

Other things:
Use on organs?
Use on food?
Weird effects on synth plants?

Is this suppose to be a traitor item? If it is the effect should be permanent because we already have a permanent DNA scrambler.

what happens if you bmag a bee

The bee gets gradually upgraded, loaf style
The bee gets a head at both ends or a bee-hind at both ends. Twice the honey or stinging.

Important that whatever you bmag makes it worse for the crew (for instance make it so bees now become aggressive to ANYONE who commits violence, not just violence against owner, or double bmag to make them hostile)

Bmag players to scramble their identity.

BMAG cats and they now chase players and trip them.

Bmag the possum and it stealth stings cap plus into anyone who comes near them

BMAG traders to open up more inventory for whoever's ID is in them at the time.

Also the B-Mag should have bee color pattern.
