Monkey in crit

I became a monkey by eating the monkey cheese burger, nothing new there. During the round a TK hulk punched me into crit. After waiting a while I decided to succumb, only it didn't work. The verb activated and I got the message but I didn't die. Not sure if this has to do with how the new medical system works, or if it's a strange bug with having superpowers as a monkey.
