This is also why I always take Arsenath and Teleport. The first I use the moment I pop into existence, to prevent people from ganking me before I can gank them, and the second so that I can spend as little time on the station so as to minimize opportunities to be ganked.

I also roll with golemz and a wildcard slot, so I don't even need to play the game!

My opinion: make wizhats and other items take a little longer to dissolve with acid, able to be wiped off in return for sizeable damage or using a towel or something to avoid it. Add a sizzling/searing noise when something on your body or very close to you (1, 2 tiles max) is struck with acid/dissolves.
