How did this bug come into being - easily repeated by me so far.
Sitting in artlab at the Computer terminal - I opened by PDA and removed the ID to put it into the computer. At this point my name is displayed as "Unknown" as it should. Removing the ID card again and inserting it into the PDA - which is residing in my PDA slot does not change my name from being displayed as "Unknown" .
Examining myself at this stage displays the following:
Unknown is wearing PDA-Gore Gibberson with Gore Gibberson's ID Card (Scientist) in it.
Removing the PDA (with ID) from my ID slot and putting the PDA (with ID) back into its place fixes this problem.
